Poetcore is a soft, literary-inspired style that blends romantic vintage, dark academia and gentle boho details. It feels thoughtful rather than polished: lace blouses, long skirts, cardigans, worn-in leather bags, ribbons, loafers and pieces that look like they belong in a quiet café, a secondhand bookshop or a rainy afternoon walk.

The key to styling poetcore is texture. Choose cotton, linen, wool, lace, suede, leather and soft knits. The color palette is usually muted and earthy: cream, oatmeal, cocoa, olive, sage, charcoal, dusty blue and faded rose. These tones make the outfits feel calm, layered and a little nostalgic.
